The meeting was a week early due to Labour Weekend the following week.
The 5 minute open competition was won by Wilma Deen "The Blowholes of Punikaiki" with Warren Knox 2nd with his film "Forestry Park" and 3rd went to Gordon Caley "Paris". Congratulations to all three entrants.
Following on, Nevill Smith, Wilma Deen and Frank Weedon explained how they planned their films To illustrate the points Nevill showed a scary film on spiders, Wilma and Harry ate lots of ice cream with a spoon, and a young Frank showed how to manipulate shoulders. Quite a mixture but made the points well.
The panel then answered a variety of questions.
An excellent evening.
