Several members commented on how much they enjoyed the meeting last night. It certainly was a friendly entertaining and informative night.

Second was "Autumn Splendour in Chingford Park" by Wilma Deen, followed by Mike Davies "Theatre by the Sea" and Warren Knox with "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines". All were very interesting and all very different.

Nevill explained that planning for the 75th celebrations was well under way and that the date was 3rd November.
The two "Show and Tell" were shown. The first a very well known person who in a show hadn't done his shirt up correctly and the second Sand Art by Kseniya Simonova in the programme "Ukraine's got talent.

Meeting 28 November 2011
This is the night of the Annual General Meeting of the Club and will be followed by the screening of a film made by a our famous filmmaker the late Arthur Richardson.
Arthur joined the Club in the nineteen fifties and enjoyed making personal holiday films as well as experimental animation films for which he became World famous.
"The Hollyford Valley - Xmas 1955-56 is a 15 minute sound film made in the days when you tried to synchronise tape recorders with projectors. Editing the sound on a reel to reel tape recorder was a major task. (there is evidence of a false start in this film actually). Make a mistake and it was back to the start again... soul destroying.
