Meeting Report 23 May 2011

Our speaker was Mr. Dan Murphy Community Adviser of "Going Digital". He spoke of the coming of Freeview and the turning off of Analogue TV in April 2013. A lot of good information.

The competition was "Open" (maximum 10 minutes) and four films were screened.
Nevill Smith's "Kelly Tarlton" was judged first followed by "The Climbing of Mackenzie Peak" by John Armstrong, "A Cruise on the Monarch" Warren Knox and "Melbourne" by Gio Angelo.
Two additional films almost made it to the screen which shows that the longer format has merit.

Nevill Smith and Andrew Wylie continued with their "Back to Basics".

It was a good night.
