Report on Meeting 26 March 2012

Several members commented on how much they enjoyed the meeting last night. It certainly was a friendly entertaining and informative night.

The competition was Open maximum 5 minutes and was won by our speaker Gio Angelo with "Disappearing to the Crib". Not only did the crib have a wonderful view it had two theatres and a castle! Second was "Autumn Splendour in Chingford Park" by Wilma Deen, followed by Mike Davies "Theatre by the Sea" and Warren Knox with "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines". All were very interesting and all very different.

Gio then showed some of the intricacies of Video Studio editing program by Corel. It was an easy program to use, plenty of auto features with manual overrides, came with extras such as animation and was reasonably priced.

Nevill explained that planning for the 75th celebrations was well under way and that the date was 3rd November.

The two "Show and Tell" were shown. The first a very well known person who in a show hadn't done his shirt up correctly and the second Sand Art by Kseniya Simonova in the programme "Ukraine's got talent.
