Report on July Meeting

Another pleasant and informative meeting.
Robyn Armstrong demonstrated the use of the DigiTech slide and negative scanner. Most of us have large slide and print collections and the DigiTech scanner is a cost effective way of scanning. Cost is approximately $56 for the cheaper version.

The competition was won by Wilma Deen with "Lost the Plot", second "Transit of Venus" (Gio Angelo), and third "Your smiling Irish eyes" by Warren Knox. The result was very close.

The President then showed films going back to the 1980's including a snake oil seller in the middle of Sumatra,"To the Pass" walking the Milford Track, "Port Pegasus" and "A night at the Opera".

Altogether an enjoyable night.
