Monthly Meeting - Monday 22 April 2013 - Update

I hope you all had a good Easter.
The next monthly meeting will be held as usual in the Mornington Community Centre, 16 Maryhill Terrace, Dunedin commencing at 7.30pm.

Programme

There will be no competition this month but some short comedy films made by club members will be shown. Wilma Deen will show a short film involving her family as actors.
Nevill Smith will show a short comedy "The Window Cleaner" made as a silent film 
Andrew Wylie will show a film made using club member as actors.

These are a demonstration of our activities in recent years at making our own short films.

Other interesting Topics
Gio Angelo will present an update on progress for the club's production of a short story movie, a great project which is now a reality.
Further he will speak on a proposal for a membership survey and its purpose.

Andrew Wylie has been putting articles on the ODT website aboutour very significant association with the old Athenaeum building in the Octagon which has a new owner about to do it up. He will give us an overview of this.

Guest Speaker
Max Quinn, renowned natural history film maker, returned this week from work overseas and will be  available to do a presentation to the club.

The Question and Answer Panel will be held over to a future evening.

I will demonstrate the "eye fi" photo video device which some may find useful.

Show and Tell as well. Bring short films for showing and/or comment

Don't forget the raffle followed by supper.
