To members of OTAGO AMATEUR MOVIE MAKERS INC.
Hello all,
You will recall that Gio and some of the members have expressed an interest
in the club producing a short film. We have a great story idea, and there is now
a pro-forma script in place. Several very enthusiastic members are very keen to
take this further. In order to plan how we initiate the making of the film, a
meeting of those interested in becoming involved is going to be held
next Thursday 23 May, at John
and Robyn Armstrong’s residence, 1 Upland Street, Helensburgh, Dunedin. Time 7.30 pm
It was hoped that we could use the Corstorphine Community centre where
there are rooms we are considering for our filming location, but this is not
available that night
we will get an opportunity to look at it again in the near future to
perhaps discuss some basics of how things may happen.
The reason for this initial meeting is to determine the following:
agree on the script
finance (there doesn’t seem to be too much of a worry
here)
who is doing what
venue
equipment needed
recording format
Transport
proposed time line
- and other related issues
If you are keen to get involved whether by acting or assisting in the
production
PLEASE EMAIL MYSELF OR GIO TO ADVISE YOUR INTENTION TO
ATTEND...(if you are interested but can’t make it
Thursday it would still be great to be aware of your interest)
Our thanks must go to Gio Angelo for the effort and time he has put in to
get to this stage. This is an exciting and worthwhile venture, and fits
perfectly with our wishes as stated earlier this year to step out and work on a
new project.
Regards
Peter Begg
President,
O.A.M.M.
