I have a very old desktop computer (2004) running Windows XP operating system which I use for work and internet stuff. Over the years it has filled up, got slower and less co-operative and is due for replacement.
After one rather painful experience I googled the problem and it came up with a program which had good reviews. I downloaded it and ran it. To cut a long story short it found a lot of improvements it could make, did so and massively increased the speed of the machine.
