Monthly Meeting, Monday February 24th 2014

The meeting will be held as normal at Mornington Community Centre, 16 Maryhill Terrace, Dunedin commencing at 7.30pm

Welcome back in 2014.
We want this year to carry on developing our new project ideas, and we are looking for ways to get more people, both members and non-members involved in some of them. We want to continue to foster activities that will potentially expand our membership. Some of the projects we want to develop will give opportunities for some input from one or two keen members.

PROGRAMME
COMPETITION:
Club subject ‘Holiday Cup’ always a popular one to start the year.
Other Interesting Items
# Gio Angelo is working on Club workshop evenings and will elaborate on progress so far. This will be of interest to some members and the discussion will include getting members feedback on what they would like.
# Andrew Wylie is showing a short Ch. 9 news clip interview on a recently held event.
He will also present a short item together with some film clip regarding a very recent DVD M- disc development.
# Nevill Smith will be reporting on storage of our equipment, as we will be looking to shift soon from the current site.
# John Armstrong will demonstrate how to make a cell phone into a mobile hotspot so you can connect your computer or tablet to the internet from almost anywhere. The cost of doing this is now more realistic. It is amazing how these smart phones can be used in many different ways.

Raffle Draw
Supper at the end of the meeting.
Your support is appreciated
Peter Begg (President)
