PROGRAMME
# Competition for this evening will be the first “Own Choice”, for a duration of 5 minutes…assessed as one of competitions for the 2013 year.
Guest Speaker News: This Month we were to have Max Quinn, renowned natural history and wildlife cameraman who has been to many remote locations throughout the world, however we have just had advice that due to him being called  to a filming project in western Australia he will not be available…It is hoped that we can aim for April…Watch this space!
However this is an opportunity to bring forward a demonstration planned for April Club night:
Green Screen
Gio Angelo will demonstrate the use of a ‘Green Screen’ in movie making. It is quite a challenge for him to get things ready by Monday evening, but he aims to be ready to go. Green Screen is a technique used to place a background image into a scene without the need to be there. This will be very interesting, and has been requested by several members who missed the last time it was demonstrated
Other Topics                                                                                                                                     # Is Analog really dead?? I will present a short film and musical clip which will show a current young and famous musical group from the States who do not believe in digital technology…an interesting diversion to normal computer controlled digitally enhanced music production
# John Armstrong will speak on copyright free music you can download and show how it is achieved – very useful if our club decides to make its own productions!
# An update from Gio Angelo on progress in relation to interest shown last month for the making of short drama / comedy films…a new direction for our club.
# Andrew Wylie has a selection of short films (As time permits) made by other movie clubs from around the World, e.g.  Edinburgh and Australia… some of the films produced by these clubs are of a very high standard, and we also get a glimpse at a meeting of the Edinburgh Club…much in common with our own!!
Raffle Draw… 3 prizes again
Results of the competition to be announced
Supper at closure of meeting
